  • Stage 1: survey, scheme design and lawful development certificate application

  • Stage 2: building regulations, detailed design and working drawings

Planning permission and building regulations approval (building control) are different and they are two separate pieces of legislation. Sometimes you may need both; sometimes you may only require one; or none at all. Because the planning legislation is distinctly different from building control legislation, it should not to be assumed that one grants consent for another. We can offer support and advice, as well as execute signed off drawings to build your loft conversion and offer many years of happy memories in a safe space that will benefit from a high standard finish.

We will respond to you within 24 hours to arrange for a free, no-obligation property survey and send your quotation usually within 72 hours. All of our surveyors have been fully vaccinated and will come in PPE when surveying your home.

  • We will advise in line with each project, supplies delivery delays and given our availability. But rest assured, we're good at communicating so you will never be left without knowing what's going on with your project. Once you accept our quote, we will secure a small deposit to firm up your request in our schedules and make sure that your project is locked with us.

  • Once you're happy with our quote, we will discuss our availability in more depth and should all be suitable we will first secure a small deposit. Before securing your deposit, we will submit a payment schedule in line with your building work so that there are no surprises. We will have drafted a contingency plan should there be any risk of uncovering potential issues - we are as transparent as possible with our payment schedule and budget allocation request.
